Signs the storm got to your roof.

Most hail damage hides on the roof itself. These are the clues you can spot from the ground.

  • Dented gutters & downspouts

Soft aluminum shows hail first. Fresh dents mean the shingles took hits too.

  • Dented roof vents

Metal vents and caps on the roof deck dent clearly, even from the yard.

  • Granules in downspouts

Piles of dark grit at the downspout mean shingles are losing their protective layer.

  • Dark “bruises” or cracked shingles

Soft spots and cracks where hail broke the mat. Visible from a ladder, not the lawn.

  • Dented AC fins or siding

Your condenser fins and siding took the same storm your roof did.

  • Leaks after a storm

Stains on ceilings or wet attic insulation. Call the storm line for emergency tarping.

What happens after you call.

  1. Call or book

Drone plus on-roof check, every hit photographed. About 30-45 minutes.

  3. Report & decide

You get the written report. File a claim or not; it’s your call.

  4. Repair & warranty

Our crew does the work, cleans up and hands you the warranty.

How we work with your insurance.

We inspect your roof, photograph every hit, and give you a written damage report you can share with your insurance company.

If you file a claim, we can be on site when your adjuster inspects the roof to point out what we found.

We don’t negotiate your claim or speak for you. That is between you and your insurer (or a licensed public adjuster). And we never waive, rebate or “cover” deductibles. It is illegal in Texas.

After the hail, after the crew.

Storm questions

More answers on hail, insurance and cost in the full FAQ.

Many homeowners call us first for a free inspection, so they know whether there is real storm damage before opening a claim. If we find damage, you get a written photo report to share with your insurer. If we don’t, we tell you, and you don’t have a claim on your record for nothing.

Check your policy. Many Texas homeowners policies now require wind and hail damage to be reported within one year of the storm date, not the date you noticed it. Texas law generally allows two years to sue over a disputed claim, but don’t count on that window. Get an inspection within weeks of a storm.

Read your policy first: some Texas policies exclude “cosmetic” damage to roofing, and the wording matters. Our photo report shows what we found, hit by hit, so you and your adjuster are looking at the same evidence.

If you disagree with the decision, you can ask your insurer about a re-inspection or its appraisal process, or talk to a licensed public adjuster or attorney. We don’t negotiate the claim for you, but we will stand behind what we documented.

Yes. After major storms our storm line is open 24/7 at (940) 555-0147. If water is coming in, we tarp the damaged area to stop further damage, and we photograph everything before and after so your documentation stays intact.
